Pragma’s Partner Alyona Shulima attended this year’s Mining Day 2025, organized by the European Business Association, which for the third consecutive year has been summing up results and discussing trends in the field of subsoil use.

The event brought together key stakeholders from the subsoil use sector, including representatives of the government, parliament, relevant agencies, and businesses. Among the main topics were the challenges and prospects for developing Ukraine’s mineral resource base, especially in the context of war and the country’s future integration into the EU.

The panel discussions featured representatives from both Ukraine and Europe, including government and business officials. Among them were Oleh Bondarenko, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Environmental Policy and Natural Resources, Yegor Perelygin, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, Oleh Hotsynets, the Head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine, Anna Derevyanko, Executive Director of the European Business Association, and Dmytro Kashchuk, Head of Subsoil Use Committee of the European Business Association.
