About the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU acquis: challenges and guidelines for business in the column by leading expert of the NGO “Pragma”, Olena Yaliieva, for Yurydychna Gazeta

For a long time, the issue of adapting Ukraine’s national legislation was considered in the context of Ukraine’s implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union—and in this paradigm, it often continues to be viewed today. At the same time, on 23 June 2022, when Ukraine officially obtained the status of a candidate country for EU membership, a systemic shift in approaches to European integration processes took place.
