The European Union is taking another decisive step toward implementing the principles of a circular economy. In September 2025, the European Parliament held its regular session, during which, among other issues, two matters related to waste management were considered in order to enshrine the principles of the circular economy in European legislation. At the same time, given Ukraine’s ongoing European integration processes, these changes will, in due course, influence the country’s regulatory environment as well.
